How refunds, cancellations, and billing disputes work.
Short version. Watch Your Tones is a monthly or annual subscription with a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time before your trial ends and you will not be charged. Once a paid billing period begins, fees are non-refundable except where required by law. EU and UK consumers retain a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal. We may issue goodwill refunds at our discretion. If you have a billing dispute, email sellitwitheveritt@gmail.com before initiating a chargeback.
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all paid subscriptions to Watch Your Tones.
§1Free trial
- The Service offers a 7-day free trial when you start a subscription.
- No charge is made during the trial.
- You may cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.
- Your trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the 7-day period and your payment method will be charged the then-current subscription fee, unless you cancel before the trial ends. You acknowledge that you have been clearly informed of this auto-conversion at signup.
§2Cancellation
- You can cancel at any time from your account settings, via the customer portal link provided in your billing emails, or by emailing
sellitwitheveritt@gmail.com. - Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access until then.
- We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months or years, except as described in §4 below.
- For California residents: you may cancel online in a single step; no phone call or live chat is required.
§3No-refund baseline
All fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins, except where required by applicable law (see §4) or where we elect to issue a goodwill refund (see §5).
This baseline applies to:
- Partial months or years following cancellation
- Billing periods in which you used the Service less than expected
- Renewals you forgot to cancel before the billing date
- Inactive months prior to a cancellation
- Disputes over AI output quality, tone-score accuracy, or speech-recognition results
You are responsible for cancelling before each renewal if you no longer wish to be billed. Renewal reminders are sent by email by our payment processor.
§4Statutory refunds
We honor refund rights granted to you by applicable law:
- EU and UK consumers exercising the statutory right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) or the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 may request a refund within 14 days of your first paid charge, subject to our right to refuse or pro-rate where you have substantially consumed the Service during that period.
- Other jurisdictions: any non-waivable consumer-protection refund right under the laws of your country, state, or province applies on its own terms regardless of anything else in this policy.

§5Goodwill refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, issue goodwill refunds outside the cases above, for example when a billing error has clearly occurred, when a Service outage has materially deprived you of access, or where we believe a refund is the right outcome.
Goodwill refunds are not a waiver of our general no-refund policy and do not create an obligation to issue future refunds. We may decline goodwill-refund requests we reasonably believe are fraudulent, abusive, or made by a user in violation of our Terms of Service.
§6How refunds are issued
Refunds, when granted, are issued through our payment processor Paddle to the original payment method, typically within 5 to 10 business days. Bank or card-network processing time may add additional delay outside our control.
We do not issue refunds to alternative payment methods, store credit, or third-party accounts.
§7Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you have a billing question or dispute, contact us at sellitwitheveritt@gmail.com first.
If you initiate a chargeback with your card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend your account pending resolution. If a chargeback is ultimately resolved in our favor, you remain responsible for the disputed amount and any reasonable fees we incur in responding to the chargeback.
§8Account closure does not entitle you to a refund
Cancelling your subscription, deleting your account, or having your account suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service does not entitle you to a refund of fees previously paid.
§9Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes that adversely affect your rights, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in-app notice before the change takes effect.
